Terms of Trade

Last updated: 1 July 2026

About these terms

These Terms of Trade apply to all services and products provided by Pool Wizard Pty Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), ABN 30 687 357 919, operating from 18/243 Sherbrooke Rd, Willawong QLD 4110. By booking a service, requesting a quote, or purchasing from our pool shop, you ("the customer") agree to these terms.

Quotes and pricing

Quotes provided by Pool Wizard are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Regular servicing pricing is based on the service tier selected (Bronze, Silver or Amethyst). Chemicals are charged separately, based on what your pool actually requires, and are not included in the base service price. Prices may change over time; we'll always let you know in advance if your regular service pricing is changing.

Payment terms

Invoices for regular pool servicing are due within 7 days of the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

For larger jobs, including green pool recovery, equipment installations and repairs, a deposit is required before work begins. The remaining balance is due on completion of the work, unless otherwise agreed. Some services or products may require full payment upfront if stated on your quote or invoice.

Late payment fees may apply to overdue invoices. Current late payment terms are stated on your quote and invoice at the time of service.

We accept payment by bank transfer, cash, card etc. Late payment may also result in a pause to ongoing servicing until the account is brought up to date.

Property access

To carry out scheduled servicing, we need safe and reliable access to your pool. This may be via a gate code, a supplied key, an unlocked gate, or another arrangement agreed with you directly.

We send a text reminder the afternoon before each scheduled service. If we're unable to access the property on the day, please let us know as early as possible, ideally the morning of the service, so we can reschedule. If access issues happen repeatedly without notice, we may need to adjust your service plan or pause your booking until access is sorted.

Cancellations and rescheduling

We understand plans change. If you need to cancel or reschedule a regular service, please let us know as soon as possible, ideally before the morning of the scheduled visit.

For larger jobs requiring a deposit (green pool recovery, equipment installs and repairs), cancellation terms will be confirmed with you at the time of booking. Deposits may not be refundable once materials have been ordered or work has been scheduled, this will be made clear to you before you pay.

Our workmanship warranty

We stand behind our work. Pool Wizard provides a 12-month workmanship warranty on installations and repairs carried out by our technicians, covering defects in our work. This is separate to, and does not replace, any manufacturer's warranty on the equipment itself, which is covered directly by the manufacturer or supplier under their own terms.

Our workmanship warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, lack of maintenance, pre-existing faults we weren't responsible for, water chemistry issues, or events outside our control such as storms, flooding or power surges.

Pool shop purchases

Products purchased from our Willawong pool shop are covered by your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including consumer guarantees relating to acceptable quality and fitness for purpose. We don't offer additional return or exchange rights beyond what the Australian Consumer Law provides.

If a product you've purchased is faulty, please contact us or visit the shop with your proof of purchase and we'll sort out the appropriate remedy, repair, replacement or refund, in line with your consumer rights.

Things outside our control

Pool water chemistry and pool conditions can change quickly, particularly after rain, extreme heat, or heavy pool use. We aren't responsible for changes to your pool's condition that occur after our visit and are outside our control. Similarly, our assessments of pool equipment and pool shell condition are based on a visual and operational inspection at the time of service, we are not licensed to assess structural integrity, and any structural concerns should be referred to a licensed building professional.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Pool Wizard's liability for any loss or damage arising from our services is limited to the cost of having the relevant service supplied again, or the cost of resupplying the relevant products. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Trade from time to time. The most current version will always be available on this page, with the date of the last update shown at the top.
