Set it to Floor Only for a quick tidy-up, Floor & Walls for a heavier clean, or Auto and let it work through floor, walls and waterline in a single run. The rollers front and back keep scrubbing while the onboard navigation maps the pool as it goes, so the Hydro 6 works out its own path rather than bumping around randomly, meaning fewer missed patches and no wasted passes over the same spot.
 
A Filter That Doesn't Choke Halfway Through
Underneath the lid sits a 6.7 litre basket split into two filtration stages, a coarser 180 micron layer for leaves and grit, and a finer 1 micron layer that traps the dust and algae particles most basic filters let straight through. Both layers lift out for rinsing, so filtration doesn't degrade as the basket fills.
 
Run It Without Standing Over It
Bluetooth and WiFi connect the Hydro 6 to the Chasing app, so cycles can be started, stopped or timed for 1, 2 or 3 hours from your phone rather than a control panel by the pool. Once a cycle finishes, the unit drives itself to the pool's edge, so there's no reaching into the water or hauling it up by the cable.

Yes. It's rated to handle salt levels up to 10,000ppm, which sits above what almost all residential salt chlorinators run at.
 
Should I get the 18m or 25m cable?
Go by cable reach rather than pool size alone, since both units clean identically. If your power point is a fair walk from the pool, or the pool itself is large, the 25m version gives you room to spare.
 
Does it actually scrub the waterline, or just vacuum the floor?
Auto mode covers all three, floor, walls and waterline, in the one cycle using the same roller brushes throughout.
 
Can I run it from inside the house?
